Sharjeel Khan is an international player from Pakistan who plays for national as well as domestic sides. He is a well known power hitter in the team. He generally opens the innings.

Domestic Career

He started playing for Hyderabad Hawks team from 2005 till 2015. He then played for ZTBL from 2011 to 2015. Sharjeel made his first class debut in 2009 and scored a century in his first match. He got selected in Islamabad United team for PSL 1. He was the third highest run scorer in that tournament. Later he again played for Islamabad in the second season of Pakistan Super League where he scored a century.

During the PSL 2017, Sharjeel got charged under PCB anti-corruption code and was suspended from every type of cricket for 5 years. Later in 2020, the punishment was suspended. He was then selected by Karachi Kings and he played for them onwards.

International Career

He made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in December 2013. Later he also made his T20i debut against Afghanistan in the same month and year. Sharjeel played his one and only Test match against Australia in January 2017. He scored his century during a match against Ireland in 2016 which also lead him to score his first 150 score in International cricket.
